HEALING OF A MAN BORN BLIND v. 1-41
1) "And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man," (kai paragon eidon anthropon) "And while passing along he saw a man," near the temple gate, where beggars often congregated to beg alms, of those who came and went, Act 3:2; Act 14:8.
2) "Which was blind from his birth." (tuphlon ek genetes) "Who was and had been blind from birth," all his life, now a mature and accountable man, Joh 9:23; He was well known to be chronically blind, by his neighbors, and a beggar, Joh 9:8. Yet, the Light of the world, Jesus Christ, passed by and saw him, Joh 8:12.
